Robert Newcombe is a Senior Consultant with The Barrington Consulting Group, headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Robert is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and an MBA graduate from the Sobey School of Business. He also has his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Robert has executed business process improvement projects and utilized the Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools with clients in municipal government, provincial government, and the private sector. He has also trained and coached 30 green belts, 80 yellow belts, and 140 Managers and Directors through Performance Excellence Training. Robert’s current client, Halifax Access-A-Bus, has used value stream mapping workshops to develop their strategic plan and technology roadmap. Robert has taken what he has learned from his own training and experience in different industries and trained other Lean Six Sigma Green Belts how to plan, prepare, and facilitate value stream mapping workshops.
